HVAC Service Technician (5+ Years Experience)
We are seeking an experienced Union HVAC Service Technician with a minimum of 5 years of field experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing HVAC equipment. This role is ideal for a technician who is confident working independently, communicates professionally with customers, and takes pride in delivering top-tier service.
Position/Role Responsibilities
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems efficiently
- Perform preventive maintenance and service repairs
- Identify system issues and recommend solutions or repairs
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Document service work performed and parts used
- Follow all safety standards, codes, and job requirements
- Maintain professional appearance and customer service standards
- Work independently and support team needs as required
Position Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC service experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and professionalism with customers
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (role dependent)
- Commitment to safety, quality, and jobsite professionalism
- Experience with commercial and/or residential service (depending on your operation)
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with modern diagnostic tools and documentation systems
