My chimney cap blew off during high winds, allowing rainwater to enter my basement. This caused the water tank to shut off automatically.
A technician was able to temporarily disconnect the automatic water heater shutoff valve so we would have hot water in the meantime. This is a temporary fix until the chimney cap is replaced.
In 53 years of my life i have never left any type of review. I am compelled to write one today. My hvac went out during this heat wave. Called what i consider to be a reputable hvac company. I wont mention their name although I should. They spent about 15 min and stated i needed to replace the condensor unit for $7k or replace the whole unit for $15k. I wanted a second opinion and called Bob Mims Hvac. Technician Mike G was absolutley fantastic. He did a thorough diagnosis to discover it was a blown capacitor. Change it for a few hundred dollars. THANK YOU. I will forever be greatful for the quick fix and honesty!!!!. Saved me thousands!!!

I am honestly so relieved I found this company. Our air conditioner stopped working on one of the hottest days of the year, and they were able to come out much faster than I expected. The technician was incredibly professional, explained exactly what was wrong, and had everything running perfectly again within the hour.
