James M and Albert B and their team from Bob Mim's just finished installing a SPACEPAK central air system and Mitsubishi heating/cooling system in my home (built in the 1930s). Within 3 days they were able to install the Mitsubishi split unit in our basement, install the air handler in the attic knee-holes, exterior unit, and run lines to 10 rooms throughout the house.
The team was punctual, professional, neat, and were eager to answer any questions my wife or I had throughout the installation process. Before they would make any decision regarding return vent positioning or small cuts to run hard to reach lines (which was unavoidable in one room given the floor plan of our home), they made sure to consult us and lay out several options. When it came to running the copper tubing and wiring along the exterior of the house, the team did a great job encasing the piping in a plastic housing that looks almost akin to a downspout, essentially blending into the house.
After installation, the team walked through the entire system with me, included me in the testing process, and did a quick walk-through of the thermostat programming. I would highly recommend Bob Mim's, James, and Albert for A/C installation to any family or friends. I will most definitely be contacting them in the summer to replace our old hot water furnace system as well!
